Pain – it is something many people live with day to day and simply accept as part of life or part of growing older. The truth, though, is that pain is one way our body tells us that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.
The International Association for the Study of Pain defines pain as “an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage and brought on by unpleasant stimuli to the body.” To truly relive pain, it is important to locate the unpleasant stimuli and alleviate it.
